Instead of rating the school as a whole, I’m going to take this opportunity to rate a teacher there. It’s been 6 years and i still can’t get the memory of John Silvia to leave me. I spent my eighth grade year in his ab class and the only thing he managed to teach me was what it feels like to really hate someone. This dude used to stand at the back of the classroom eating pb straight out of the jar and chugging mountain from a 2-liter more often than he ever tried to teach anyone. If that’s not bad enough, bro didn’t even know what he was talking about half the time. On more than one occasion he looked to me, an eighth grade student, for guidance on how to pronounce a word while reading in front of the class. I also remember him ignoring a female student of his when she told him the boy next her was touching her without her permission. She told him several times and his response each time was, “Just sit down.” Sylvia is also the jackass that made us read “My Brother Sam is Dead.” (spoiler alert: Sam dies). Worst of all, this guy had probably the worst accent i have ever heard. It made listening to him pretend to be an educator unbearable.

Let me start off by saying WORST 2 YEARS OF MY LIFE!! This school has a very hypocritical staff that picks favorites and they worry more about the kids whose parents donate a lot of money to the school, which is usually athletes and leadership kids. This prison also has ignorant attention-seeking drama queens who spread rumors about everyone they meet. Basically synonyms for Alta Sierra include drama, sports, and trouble Do not, I repeat DO NOT SEND YOUR CHILDREN HERE OR GO HERE!!!

Tbh I don’t like this school dress code is super dumb and their food sucks only the teachers are nice and supportive all the kids there act like they better than everybody else there is also a lot of fake ppl!!
