Terrible, untrustworthy, & DISHONEST, are the words I would use to describe CPS. I Applied for a position,, received an offer for an Interview( which I did awesome by the way) was never told pay / salary, so before accepting the role I asked about salary and compensation! The base salary for the position was reasonable and aligned with my education and experience, so I accepted the OFFER JANUARY 6th, 2023! I performed all the drug/ background testing and was CLEARED! The base salary was stated and I quote $54,325 however weeks later right before my start date I requested an official offer letter for my records and the salary was $14,000 less than what was previously discussed. I immediately contacted the lead contact and HR team. No one cared to explain or at least rectify the issue! I resigned IMMEDIATELY. They did however, manage to send the resignation letter but didn’t SEND me an email regarding the HUGE pay discrepancy. DISHONEST hiring practices, false advertising as well.

Additionally, you have to pay for drug-screening, and travel expenses all out of pocket. To have spent $90+ on the Pre- hiring process to receive dishonest salary information, is probable cause to share my experience with all prospective candidates seeking a new start with CPS. Don’t trust them!

I am product of public school education. My mother has been a dedicated teacher for this company for 25 yrs! I have always admired and sought to emulate her in her educational endeavors. This company is truly distasteful. I worked hard on my resume, the interview and paid my own money.

Worst COMPANY! -1000 for wasting my time.

AS FOR: Ms. Tyisha White a representative for the HR department, A reasonable explanation is the least your company could have done to accommodate me for Wasting my time. I could have interviewed and applied for other companies.

Went in to talk to the facility managers about the cps in the southern part of Illinois. The front desk was very helpful. Hopefully the ones in charge get my message and help me help the schools that need the help my company offers. Every school deserves energy efficiency. Let’s make it happen!
