this is an anonymous review but i just want to say when i first read the negative reviews i ignored it until i went to the facility for myself . first off the lady at the front (lightskin) has a very condescending attitude and nasty spirit . in the application it also states that any harm done to your child is no one’s fault and that you can’t hold the employees responsible ( RED FLAG ) . in the application it also states that if your child breaks something then you have to pay the full price of the object . so let me get this straight , you can harm my child and i can’t take legal action but my child can accidentally break something ( WHICH HAPPENS ) and i have to pay ? she says she’s been doing this for 20+ years but it doesn’t seem like it honestly . you’re very rude and arrogant and im not even being spiteful with this review . im a child of the most high and i don’t believe in lying or making someone look bad . i genuinely feel like you were rude and disgusting . this clearly isn’t your desired profession . i won’t recommend this daycare at all . there’s so many other daycares with nice and welcoming staff and that clearly loves kids . i advise the parents that has their kids enrolled to pull their child out . she’s probably gonna say this is a fake review but i promise it’s not . if she says it is I’ll definitely post my number so you all can reach out to me yourselves and I’ll even send y’all a list of daycares that treats parents and kids with respect and kindness . have the day you deserve lady

This makes my 4th year at safe haven and my daughter loves it here. But I’m not feeling so great anymore. The pandemic has been rough to deal with and everybody are having more issues than normal. Safe haven opened back up knowing they didn’t have enough staff for the amount of kids returning but decided to anyway. Parents aren’t allowed to enter the building so we are left in the blind on what’s going on. My daughter has been marked absent 23 times since being back from covid. The school is not calling safe haven their concerns are with me. But they informed parents that they would be providing assistance with virtual learning. 1 person can’t assist 25 kids from different schools and taking different breaks. Also one of their recently hired staff grabbed my daughter by her shoulders and off her feet because he was to frustrated with her. He didn’t just do it on 1 occasion, there was another time when he grabbed one of her shoulders and threw her book bag at her an told her to leave. This is unacceptable and I hope whom ever reading this feel where I’m coming from.

My daughter has been here since 2012 and I have little to no complaints. I love the atmosphere & I especially love how conveniently located it is. My son started in 2018 as an infant with Ms. Theresa who is awesome & has a great spirit. He then transitioned to Ms. Consuela who I have been continuously impressed with during his time with her. Ms. Consuela has contributed tremendously to my son’s growth & development and I could not ask for a better teacher for him. She helped him learn to walk and even taught him sign language! It’s a wonderful feeling to be able to trust that your children are in great hands each day.
