Highlands Christian College offers a lovely, warm and welcoming environment for children and their families. The teachers are friendly, passionate about teaching and genuinely care for each and every student. The grounds are gorgeous and the facilities have some really lovely features, including a Middle Years playground, Creative Arts building, maker space and a large and open library.
I graduated from Highlands in 2022, having begun in Grade 9. The school has been the source of many fun memories and friendships and has helped me to not only build a solid academic foundation, but also to explore my interests.

If you are thinking of sending your child there, I would highly recommend it. Teachers who know you by name and can support you in both your learning and spiritual growth and experiences that build your non-academic skills such as event management and athletics are just some of the reasons that Highlands might be the best option for you and your family! Rest assured, there are plenty of opportunities at Highlands.

The leadership, teachers, and support staff really care about their students. Laughter and singing fills the campus. In addition to great teaching, there are wonderful sporting and artistic extracurricular opportunities. The grounds are beautiful, and they have one of the best libraries in the region. I’ve personally seen kids suffering from trauma flourish at Highlands as they feel safe and valued as unique humans made in the image of God. If you’re looking for a school in Toowoomba, this would be my first recommendation.
Highlands is an incredible school! When looking to enrol my daughter we visited several other options but found that the facilities, community, and excellence of Highlands was second to none.

Since attending Highlands for the past 3 years she has thrived in academics, friendships, sports, and confidence.

I would recommend Highlands to any parent looking for values-based education, a vibrant community, and the knowledge that their child is known by name.

We emigrated from South Africa to Australia 7 years ago. Highlands offered us a safe and supportive landing place where honour, love and Jesus forms an integral part of holistic learning. Our children thrive at Highlands, not only as academic students, but also in becoming wholesome, respecful, resilient and caring human beings.
