In Lexington, “private tutoring” covers a wide range of services, which are frequently quite expensive and which offer vastly different levels of targeted instruction. It can be difficult to ascertain what you’re paying for and whether it has a reasonable likelihood of benefitting your child. BLI Learning Labs is a moderately priced option for both group and individual tutoring, but I would describe my child’s experience with BLI tutoring as “priceless.” Some businesses promise very specific results in terms of test scores and reading levels — you won’t find that at BLI. Instead you will find educators with a different approach, who genuinely want to help kids find a love of learning and a path to success. My goal for the summer of 2022 was simply to avoid the “summer slide” in reading, but – to my surprise and delight – my child’s measured growth in reading speed and comprehension over the summer was four times what we had seen throughout the entire 2021-2022 school year. My child looks forward to tutoring sessions with BLI, and I can see excitement and confidence growing alongside the newly acquired reading skills. Five stars.

By recommendation of our daughters 3rd grade teacher, we came across Bees Learning. We can’t say enough to express our gratitude. The confidence our child gained by trusting herself on math skills and reading have allowed her to make strides in class. Our recent move to the area and changes in the schools might’ve added to loss of confidence, thanks to Bees she is back on the saddle!

When our son noticed how much fun his sister was having while learning, he asked us to help him join Bees, now their both part of what I consider the best investment in our children thus far! Definitely recommend it.

I have been working /volunteering with Bees Learning for nearly a year, and undoubtedly the dedication and tenacity of Leah for her students, her community, and her efforts to promote self worth, confidence, and educational growth is astounding. As a 501c3, there is always a need for support to keep this program moving, and Leah’s growing community of supporters recognize the immense need and her efforts to make her program thrive. I highly recommend this organization for sponsorships, volunteerism, and for community involvement.
