I am a graduate from Reno high school, and I can tell you the teachers and staff want you to succeed. It is completely up to the student to decide whether or not they will though. The reviews of only athletes get attention is completely BS and is just an excuse for students not doing well. Teachers will give up their lunch and after school time to help you if you really need help
I got kicked out of this school my junior year because I made the mistake of asking my English teacher (Mr. Guajardo) to stop flirting with the student body and actually teach his class. That was a decade ago, and hopefully this kind of thing no longer happens all the time, but that doesn’t change the fact that it used to be commonplace at this school.
If you’re not an athlete or hang around the popular groups, than you mean nothing to this school…
