Dolan Middle School, Stamford | Fees, Rankings, Address, Admission, Vacancies, Reviews & More

Dolan is the worst middle school in Stamford. I hate it and so do many other students. The building is old rusty and disgusting. As a student there I would like it to be new and not financially struggling. To let you know we do not go on half as many field trips/academic activity’s as all the other schools. Also Dolan is not equipped with air conditioning. During the summer time the classes can reach an upward of 100 degrease. And the heaters are very outdated and take a long time to turn on. And the Dolan campus isn’t very safe either. The amount of times the cops have been in and out of our school for things such as death threats to cyber bullying is absurd. The most recent issue is that all the printers in classrooms have been shut off because of “ budget cuts “. Need I remeind you that we didn’t have a media center secratry until a few weeks ago. Once agian this is due to the lack of funds that Dolan provides its staff and students. Us students deserve to have a better and safer school experience. We are supposed to come to school feeling safe and happy. At Dolan we cannot feel that way. Last but not least is that staff have been caught to be openly racist. I don’t like this school as much as others do. First, as many are saying, it is very low budget and does very little to fix it.
There is a lot of bullying and all they do to stop it is give you a “lunch detention” which isn’t even that bad or a punishment at all really. If we get less than 8 lunch detentions we get to watch a movie and , honestly that is incredibly stupid and doesn’t stop kids at all.
People yell during lockdowns, laugh in fire drills, and I’m not perfect but there is no reason for that. I feel as if the guidance counselors dont even care about your problems. This has been going on since before I even got there, you need to fix it.

THIS SCHOOL IS HORRIBLE NEEDS TO BE SHUT DOWN BROKE ASSES. THE BOYS BATHROOM CEILING IS STILL BROKEN AND THERE ARE STILL NO DAMN ELEVATOR PEOPLE WHO ARE DISABLED CANT COME HERE CAUSE YOU WONT BE ABLE TO TRANSPORT TO YOUR CLASSES PEOPLE WHO BREAK THERE LEGS HAVE 5 MINUTES TO GET TO CLASS AND STILL DON’T EVEN MAKE IT IN TIME CAUSE THERE ALWAYS CLIMBING THOSE LONG ASS STAIRS. THE OTHER MONTH WE GOT A SCHOOL SHOOTING THREAT AND NOTHING WAS REALLY DONE ABOUT IT ACCEPT THE POLICED WERE CALLED. AND THE KIDS WHO PLAYED ABOUT DIDNT EVEN GET IN TROUBLE, ALSO BROKE PEOPLE CANT AFFORD HEAT OR COLD AIR. AND ANOTHER THING THIS SCHOOL IS DIRTY N NASTY.
