My child has never gone here so I can’t speak for the competency of the teachers, staff, or anything like that. I just think it’s a little tacky and worth noting that things that should be addressed to the parents directly, or as a take home note, are instead posted on their Facebook page as a status to the general public. I followed their Facebook page while doing research on where to send my daughter and all I ever see from them is “don’t send gum to school with your children”, “PARENTS remember no flip flops allowed”, or there even was one to remind people that one month had 5 weeks so they need to remember to pay more. It just frankly doesn’t seem like everyone’s business to me and comes across as unprofessional.
Good Shepherd Christian Academy is amazing! My son, just made 12 years old, & I am grateful for Good Shepherd. They provided a solid foundation for his education. My 1st year teaching (the year before my son started K), Good Shepherd was teaching their 4 year olds the same curriculum being used in K. I drove 15 min the opposite way of work to bring my child here. Their workers are great, really care, & do an amazing job keeping you updated on your child & sending you pictures of your child. I cannot say enough wonderful things about this place. I highly recommend it…if you can be lucky enough to get a spot on their waiting list.
The people are amazing! Very little turnover so my 4 yr old has almost all the same teachers my 7 year old had. Both of my kids had all amazing people that love them, pray for them, and are very positive influences on them. I thank God for The Good Shepherd.
