The students and teachers are wonderful… Unfortunately, the receptionist (Vicki/Vicky) is quite rude and very tacky. I sat and listened to her talk very condescending to 3 customers who were not giving her any type of attitude at all. When I let the last customer know she had been talking to multiple people that way, she (the receptionist) began addressing me. I explained I didn’t have conversation for her, and she got rude with me and began yelling. I not only voluntarily walked out at that time, but I also will NOT be back. I don’t mind paying extra for good customer service.

UPDATE: Apparently this is a common complaint regarding this individual according to BOTH students and at least one teacher. How unfortunate that this is not an isolated incident, but rather a tolerated injustice. No person should be allowed to continually talk to customers in a condescending manner.

They do a good job on some services, great job on others, but the worst always depends on who is doing what you go there for. this is a beauty school and is good for those who need to save money. Always remember if your hair is messed up I promise there are many places at other professional solon’s you can pay much, much more money to that can mess up your hair too. Just keep looking, there are a few great reasonably priced beauty solon along the coast but you just have to keep looking. Asking people who you admire their hair where they get it done is a great way to try different hair stylist. The absolutely worst haircuts and color I ever had I paid as little as much as $50 for both and as much as $230. I have a feeling I am not telling anyone anything new. But if you do not have a lot of money to have your hair attended to Chris’s is not that bad to try.
I completely understand this is a school. My stylist was super sweet, but my Brazilian blow-out did not last 48hrs and for the price I’m alil upset. 100$ with a trim, and it is awful. Should of spent the extra going to a real salon. New to Gulfport area and was recommended by my friends wife. Not to mention my hair is VERY uneven. We cut a good 10″ off. Sadly, I will not go back. She was due to graduate in a few weeks. I didn’t have the heart to tell her, I’m super unhappy with it.
