By far at my years at Nettelhrost it was amazing, I have been able to work with a close friend into reconstructing the Ambassadors and bringing a Non-Profit even closer to Nettelhrost already hosting two off school ground events under the Ambassadors and I’m glad to have said that both the Administration, Teachers, and Staff have been amazing wonderful people when you get to know them they become family as my family has been with Nettelhrost past 40+ years both working and going to there amazing building. If I where to give advice to what elementary to take your child to it would be Nettelhrost for all the amazing people, events, and activities you can do while keeping an amazing education thanks to Ms.Jacquline Von Edelberg and her amazing strength to help Nettelhrost in recent years rebuilding the entire system for us to be as amazing as we are today, even though I have graduated they will always be family for years to come. I have never seen such excitement in students at others school but Nettelhrost will connect you to others and will help show you your full potential and what are capable of doing. I would like to say thank you for all that they have done from powerful men and women who work everyday especially under all that Illinois has gone through with the budget we all are there for one another.

Sincerely Danny Rosado

Schools are not built for Teachers to teach and Students to learn but a School is one that has both Teachers who teach then learn from their students and Students who Learn and then teach those skills for generations to come, because that’s what my vision is that makes a school so great.

This is my eighth year at Nettelhorst, and it’s been a great experience. As I move forward to look on to other future schools, I will be sad to leave my alma mater behind. This school was pretty okay when I came in Kindergarten, but gradually got better until it was what it is now. A great school, with many friendly faces and a great academic program. Shout out to the Middle-school teachers. Definitely recommend young children starting here and finishing out in eighth grade, like I will very soon.
I’ve been with this school for 8 years. All the money and after school programs and classes such as Drama, P.E, Music, etc. which makes the school pretty good. The school design it self is OK but it can be better. The teachers and students are not the brightest of things, but the students are friendly. This school is also OK academically. Honestly it’s your decision if you want your child to go here not mine, but I’m here to inform you of what I’ve seen in my 8 years (soon 9)
