Around a year ago i would’ve gave this school a five. But after I’ve been here for some time, I’ve seen things. Don’t put your kids at this school. Most of the teachers are mean, the kids are perverts (mostly 6th grade and up) for an example a few weeks ago I heard an old friend saying that he grabbed a girls butt when she wasn’t looking, some of my 6th grade friends watch porn, and if you don’t know what it is they’ll show it to you(I got exposed to it in 5th grade) the bulling is non stop in all the grade levels. If the teachers don’t like you they will give you crappy grades and nasty comments, and most of the kids here are just rotten. That’s why next year I will be attending a school around the corner from country meadows named paramount academy. In fact I met the Director of paramount and she said it wasn’t the first time a student from country meadows came to paramount for these reasons.
I almost didn’t buy my house because of the ratings for this school, and now that I have I may have to rethink what school the kids go to if it doesn’t improve next year. My kids love their teachers this year, but we have had major issues with bullying. My youngest is in second grade, and is shorter than most of the boys. He has been kicked, punched, and knocked to the ground. Besides the parents being called nothing has been done. The principal, Mr. Val Barrett, advised they have been having issues with bullying with older kids but didn’t realize it was going on with the younger kids as well. That doesn’t give me much confidence in Country Meadows, and their ability to keep my kids safe while they are trying to get an education
New pricipal at country meadows seems to me she is doing a much better job then the one before ..There has to be more communication between teacher and parent if a student had an A in a class then F ,I think the parent should be notified that means there is an issue! Also i came unannounced to my daughters lunch and before i was seen by any teachers I heard one of the office ladies screaming at the kindergarten kids umm learn how to communicate.I have complained many times to the principal last year he never did anything to resolve any of the matter’s. Lets see how it goes with the new principal for the remainder of the year.
