Our daughter attended Montessori School of North Miami for three years, and we cannot say enough fabulous things about the experience. From the administration to the teachers, we valued the intimate nature of the school, the attentiveness of teachers, the communication, and the hands-on instruction our daughter received. We enrolled her in Pre-K 4 and she was reading by the end of the year! She continued thriving even during COVID when she attended Kindergarten online. She was performing so well, she studied reading and writing with her older peers in 1st grade. She was fortunate to have Mrs. Charris for two years. We absolutely love Mrs. Charris. She is loving, smart, kind, and invested in the children’s education. We had open communication with her as well as Susan from administration who was responsive, knowledgable, and always helpful. Our daughter remained enrolled at the school through 1st grade and did phenomenally well in all subjects and was constantly challenged based on her own needs. She made amazing friends and we are ever grateful to the school and the staff. We examined many schools before choosing MNM and that was the best decision we could have made for establishing a top-notch foundation for our daughter’s education. It is because of the stellar educators, administrators, diversity, and Montessori programming that our daughter performs above her grade level and consistently exceeds expectations. We miss the school very much and will continue to support such a fine educational establishment.
I have 3 daughters, my youngest is attending the school now. My 2 older daughters went right into gifted programs from the 1st grade because they were so far more advanced than the other 1st graders in their school. Which by the way is 10 rated AAA school. They way the school prepares them in reading , math, life skills, is beyond any other Montessori school around. We recently moved almost 35 minutes away, and even though there is 2 other Montessori schools near me, I would rather drive the distance than take my child out of this school. The teachers are all super caring, always keeping us informed, and Ms Suzie works wonderfully with all the kids. They are constantly challenging the kids, and are always keeping us informed of our Childs progression, as well as area’s that need more attention. I highly recommend North Miami Montessori and wouldn’t send my girls to any other school to better prepare them for their higher education.
My daughter went to Montessori School of North Miami for Pk-3 and Pk-4, before we moved away. I wish I could have taken the school with us. Such an amazing school, awesome teachers and wonderful office staff. Small setting so each child has individual attention. On top of a great curriculum of reading, writing, math, social studies and science, they also teach children to be independent and functional in society.
I have nothing bad to say about my experience here and my daughter feels the same.
