My kids have spent the week at camp through Community Education. They spent a week at a different camp last week. They really loved the other camp, but are indifferent about this one. They come home saying that it is run just like school and get punished for talking. They have also said the camp has mandatory nap time. Which seems excessive for a kids going into 4th grade. They have had some fun with some of the activities. The theme for the week was water week so they enjoyed that portion. But the classes they teach have been a mixed bag and they felt that sending them here was a punishment at times and have questioned if it was actually summer school. It was advertised as a summer camp, which should be fun. It should not be run the same way school is run. We had no issues with the kids asking to not go back at the camp last week.
Their catalog comes out quarterly. A vast assortment of offerings throughout Warren County at rather reasonable prices. I’ve taken six different classes.
This is a great place with great staff. They take children seriously!
