Our son has been attending Educational Playcare for over one and a half years and we could not be happier. They offer the perfect balance between academics and social, imaginative play that I feel confident that our son will be more than ready for kindergarten. The “extras” that are included, for example music, science, even yoga, I feel set this center apart from others (and our son has attended two other centers previous to Educational Playcare). The teachers are compassionate and caring and truly treat my son like he is part of their family. They go outside to play, weather permitting, at least twice a day, which is so important to me! Even the food that is served is such a plus! Before my son started, his food preferences were limited to about 5 items. He has now expanded his palate and is willing to try a variety of healthy choices. All in all, we feel very lucky to have our son attend Educational Playcare. Our only regret is that our older daughter did not attend as we did not know about it back then!
I have 5 months old baby boy. As a first parent/mom, I called so many places to see where my child could go while my husband and I are working. Our priorities were “safe and caring.” As soon as I took a tour at BrightPath Wallingford, my husband and I agreed to stop looking for other daycare. Director is super nice and she answers all the questions that I have anytime (I do ask lots of questions over time). I love their communication app! They upload child’s picture and let me know when my child got fed and changed, etc. My baby always smiles back to his teachers (Ms.Olgui and Sheila) and it tells me teachers do care about each child a lot! They do many activities together such as reading, painting (so cute!!!), and more. I cannot wait my baby makes more memories with his teachers. We recommend anyone here who is considering sending their child to daycare for the first time.
Where do we begin? From the tour of the wonderful school to the first week of school; educational playcare has exceeded our expectations at every moment. Choosing the first daycare for a 20 month old is a very difficult and time consuming decision. From the moment we walked through the doors, and every day since….we are confident we chose the right place. The happiness on his face when he is working on numerous art projects, outside activities, and playing with his new friends. We appreciate and look forward to the numerous photos ans updates we receive throughout the day! From the director to the teachers and all the staff, their attention to detail and caring for the children shine through in everything they do!
