My Son, graduated from this school with welding certificates in 2022. When we previewed the school, Luke told us that he would have small classes and foster growth in each of the students while having a good atmosphere. He has a military background and I was familiar with this style. My son looked forward to attending each day. His growth was remarkable. He was employed immediately after certification. He spent less than a year welding stainless steel. A job came open in aerospace near our home in Orange County, CA. He went to the interview and was hired over several other applicants. The company is putting him through additional certifications at their cost. He can weld stainless, aluminum, and titanium along with other alloys. His much older peers on the job respect his ability. While individual results may vary depending on effort and resources, my Son has knocked it out of the park based on what he learned at this school and how he was treated. I would recommend this school over the other nearby options.
My Son is now in a union job, welding aerospace parts for a defense contractor in Southern California. He has remained humble but is very satisfied with this outcome and career. There are university graduates working at coffee shops. This skill has given him a path to a career with growth and potential to have his own business someday.
Thank you to Luke and the rest of the American Fabrication Academy for this start. I have been waiting for a chance to report back on the results and this was the first opportunity. You are taking young people and blessing them with a great opportunity and unlimited horizons. God Bless and God Speed!
I have raised 4 kids and commanded several military units as a military pilot. I have been to combat in Iraq twice. I am fairly confident in this assessment. If you want to learn and be ready to take on new challenges give it a try.
EDIT///***Update to this review. My Son made it to Journeyman Welder status within a year of graduation from this academy. He still works at the same aerospace company mentioned here. He is talented but it’s because he put the work in.
Attending this school was the smartest decision I’ve ever made. I gained skills that can be incorporated within the growing industry of aerospace. The instructors there are some of the best people I know. They are patient and caring and want their students to succeed. Thanks to their teaching and efforts I was able to get a job as a machinist within an aerospace company in San Diego. And as a result my supervisors have been impressed with my work ethics and training I’ve received from the school that it has allowed me moving up within the company.
These instructors are by far the best group of gentlemen around. They are extremely knowledgeable in the welding and fabrication world. They are truly invested in there students and there well being during school and after you graduate. All of them have taken countless hours to set aside during and after school hours to work with me to be able to accomplish my dream. This school is truly top notch and by far the best in the country. Thank you for everything you guys have done for me and my family.
