The principal does not return calls, and offers no assistance or insight when problems arise… like when my kindergartener found an open condom on the school bus and played with it. The duties on the playground do not help students when they’ve been pushed; children are told to tell their teachers. The track coach lets small children get lost, and can’t keep track of money. No one seems to care, and no one responds to calls or emails. This is not a safe place for children to be.
My son had problems adjusting at first because we’d moved from a small town where the school was much smaller. The teachers and staff were great at helping him adjust! His teacher was awesome, and the counselor was too.
Skyway is a great school and the teachers do a great job educating. The events are well attended. The communication is handled well. The kids are taught principles and values too.
