As one of the teachers who stayed on during the transition to Heritage Academy Pointe, I have only great things to say about this school. The administration, teachers, and staff are amazing – always friendly and willing to collaborate or help out as needed! Students have the opportunity to be at a safe, positive, welcoming campus with small class sizes and teachers who care about what they are teaching as well as the students they are teaching. This year I have seen many students become more confident in themselves. There are high standards and expectations with students on a 4 day a week A/B schedule and needing a 70% or higher to pass their classes. However, this comes with students having a better understanding of what they are learning and being provided more chances to prepare for college with dual enrollment classes (with more being added each year). Students have the opportunity to be involved in a variety of ways including Scholar Council (plus all the activities they sponsor for the school) and hopefully more extracurricular activities as the school grows.

As a teacher at another Heritage campus, I have had the priviledge to interact with the staff of Heritage Academy Pointe. I have been impressed with their dedication to their profession, the school’s mission, and above all the scholars. Additionally, Principal Weiler has done an amazing job stepping up at the beginning of the school year. Only upward and onward once you join a Heritage team! Our schools are all dedicated to excellence in education and helping young people become well-balanced citizens of our great nation.
