Before deciding to send your kid here understand that the school hours are 9am til 3pm and they offer no before and after school care and trust me we have tried to change that but it ain’t happening. Secondly school holidays are mostly 3 weeks long not 2 and again there is no holiday program. Also there are quite a few spontaneous days off. So be prepared to spend a heap on a nanny or get an au pair.
Currajong is the most wonderful, nurturing and caring school. This school saved my son for the better. He has come forward in leaps and bounds and is a different child mentally and socially since attending Currajong. If you work closely with the school and their programme the outcome is positive. For us, a perfect fit.
Looks like all the negative reviews are gone and the only 2 positive reviews are from 3 years ago. Its been a while since my child was there. My child like many others are still traumatized by the experience. Before enrolling I strongly suggest you do some research on the investigations that was or is still being done at the school.
I went here in the mid to late 80’s when John was principal here, I have a lot of very good memories of Curunjang.
1988 they used to beat us with a bat and make sure all students knew we where copping a beating!
