Small, cramped, inadequate classroom space. No recess for 1st graders. No playground. No strategic plan for multi-tiered intervention for students with unique challenges. Requested gifted testing for my son, principal promised paperwork and never delivered it. While observing a 1st grade class, I witnessed very poor classroom mgmt strategies. This is just a sampling. Nice building though.
This school is Horrible, The staff disrespectful and rude they don’t care about the students, They are a bunch of Unprofessional group of people ever. This was a Big Mistake putting my son in this school. It’s a very small space and the kids are on top of each other. Absolutely a big mistake!
I love the Urban Academy staff, this is my daughters second year and she is so happy with the staff and all her new friends. I am most pleased with the effective communication. Keep up the great job Urban Academy.
