My 2-year-old son is attending his first year in the Toute Petite (toddler) classroom at The Little French School. To say that my husband and I are impressed would simply be an understatement. LFS provides our son with exceptional care in an enriching environment to learn. He’s quickly picked up skills and is showing growth in his age-appropriate milestones that he hadn’t yet mastered before starting school. Each day he progresses in his fine motor skills, cognitive skills, and social-emotional development Lead teacher Elisia goes above and beyond to ensure that each child receives a high-quality education and compassionate care. She celebrates all of the children and the unique individuals that they are. She provides the children with hands-on learning in a way that captivates them to dive in and explore.

The Little French school provides a unique experience and a truly welcoming community. Dropping my son off each day and seeing him light up with the excitement of being at school ignites my soul. Every child deserves the opportunity to eagerly enjoy their early childhood experience; LFS has mastered the art of high-quality education for young children. I know for certain that my son is being cared for and loved by the staff and teachers. My husband and I are overjoyed to be a part of the LFS community and are excited to see our son blossom into a young bilingual.

If you are looking to support a local business that is making a major difference in the lives of young children and families in our community, look no further. The Little French School is a tremendous choice to make a donation to! The cost of tuition alone cannot keep the school afloat so any and all donations help in keeping this school running. The school truly appreciates it and the money makes a massive difference in the lives of the children that attend this wonderful school. Thank you LFS for all that you do. Your hard work and commitment to providing the best care for the kids in our community are unmatched.

Sincerely,
Alandra and Steven Duncan

I can’t say enough good things about The Little French School! Our kids love going to school every day. Every interaction we’ve had with the teachers and administration has been positive & kind, they all genuinely care about the kids. We get face time with the teachers every day at drop-off and a weekly email sharing classroom activities throughout the week.
The classrooms are big, organized, & clean, but the teacher to child ratio is small. Kids get plenty of outdoor play as part of a predictable daily routine. My kids are learning about the world in developmentally appropriate ways (sensory tub for toddlers, numbers & letters for pre-k) and they’re learning a second language. (Parents don’t need to speak French, but I’ve been inspired to start learning so I know what my kids are saying!)
The Little French School is a GIANT when it comes to early childhood education. Full French immersion, terrific teachers, and great academic program, combined with afternoon extended care and 32 years of experience servicing the Eugene/Springfield community. The academic, cultural, and linguistic development of both my children benefited tremendously from their time at the Little French School. Especially during the early formative years between 2.5 and 5/6 years – being exposed to a foreign language (let alone being fully immersed) is one of the best things to do for a child’s intellectual and academic development. I am so glad and grateful the Little French School gave this gift to my children.
