The staff, from when you walk in, to the administrators, to many of the teachers, are authentic and invested in the success of my children and others. I work with children who struggle and families that struggle, every day. There is no perfect situation at school or at home, but I feel very safe with my children with the staff and educators at Vector Prep and the supporting programs like Skyline (which provides an aftercare for those who need it, and we need it!) There are many staff there I could call out by name (you know who you are) that step up like family to care for the kids. If you remain invested in your kid’s education, so will they. I have recommended this school to others looking for diversity and inclusion and support for kids who need it.
They found a vape pen in the elementary bathrooms also NEVER notified parents. Teachers leave from one day to another, my daughter had 3 different teachers in one school year. The last teacher flipped a desk and threw a water bottle across the room in the direction of a student. These are all facts i brought to the principals attention as the mother of a child that witnessed all of these events but he didn’t seem to care because he never did anything about it. The last one really did it for me the police was involved and believe me you dont want to know why! Its worth the drive take them to another school
