Edit: My experience has been soured pretty bad. I called the financial aid office ***SIX*** times over the course of 2 hours, trying to get through with a question about about my award. Every single time it rang and went to voicemail. I eventually called a different line (cashiering) and told them about the issue, and their response was Uhh, yeah, sorry, ur gonna have to try again tomorrow cause theyre closed now. Disregarding the fact Id been trying to get through for literal hours before they closed. Gee, thanks dude. Appreciate it.
If Im paying thousands of dollars to go to school here, its insane to me that they wont even pick up the phone. Come on dude. Once or twice, fine, youre busysix times is just silly. On top of all that, the last time I sent a question to Finaids email, they took around 3 weeks to respond, which is also just
not great. I understand the office is busy because a new school year just started, but this is really just excessive. Sorely disappointed.
Getting any service through the phone is impossible. Been calling since the morning to get information about getting my degree sent to me, nothing but voicemail machines, busy tones and being provided non working numbers. Been calling since 8AM. It wasnt until 12PM when I visited the college campus that I was advised the representative I needed to speak with was not available and to send everything to them via their email. I could have saved close to an hour of driving one way to the college to get this information if someone just picked up the phone and provided the information. If you want to go to this college, you have to do just about anything to do with admin or payments in person on Campus. No other way to reach anybody. The teachers are readily available and they are great, Admin services on the other hand is worse.
This is an online school. The classes that they offer in person are extremely limited and if not they are hybrid. What is the point of paying so much money if you cant utilize the amenities the school is providing? Some of us dont have the best internet or the best setting to be able to study from home. Not to mention, a majority of the time when doing online classes the students are essentially just teaching themselves. Some of us cant focus on our schoolwork properly when at home. This is ridiculous. It would be different if it was given as an option for students to study from home but to essentially push all your students to do online schooling isnt fair. The pandemic is over. There is no need to continue subjugating us to this torture.
