I really and truly thought we were making the best decision for my niece education by applying at this location.

To my niece I apologize that we wasted this precious year of your education.

If you are in search of a great program please check the reviews/social media presence.

I hope the state takes a closer look at this school. I hope this review saves someone from making the worst choice. The communication is so unprofessional, emails sent to that general email address over looked, and support staff should consider a name change. The teachers have their respective picks. The arrival/entrance is an epic failure during arrival and because of the inefficient method students are counted unexcused when they are actually present. The progress monitoring (I can’t even begin to prove that this was done) because the communication is made with everyone else in the school the parent is not notified until the 3rd or 4th quarter and by then it’s generally too late. Unless you can afford outside resources because you value your child’s education.

When you are dealing with kids they will cough and sneeze here you are sent home for 3 days regardless if nothing is wrong and you test negative.

When the air or anything major causes the school to close because it’s not operational instead of calling they email so it’s a great chance your child will be sitting in the dark and heat on the floor in the event you don’t check your email.

No accountability, follow up, nor compassion from this years experience. It has been a nightmare in which I hope does effect this child future outlook on school.

Last but not least I encourage you to do your research the only consideration offered was IEP/504 for a student with no education Challenges no behavior issues and has never been test to meet the qualifications for a service so low. But they sell this service to young parents of color with the interpretation that they don’t know any better and then the child can be labeled and the school reaps the benefits for additional resources. Meanwhile the child is still left behind because they only needed a compassionate teacher and support team to care not on a individual basis but invite them to be apart of the class, extend polite feedback or redirection, and most importantly just build that relationship. But instead this child didn’t even look forward to attending school because of the care she received while at TMSA. My hope is that her summer education builds a healthy and positive outcome for a successful future.

If I could have gave lower than a (1) I would have. Their report should Definitely reflect a negative/needs improvement/unsatisfactory.

This is my sons first year at TMSA and I have to tell you I am very disappointed. I enrolled my son there because of the curriculum and the no bully policy within the first semester several instances had happened that I was not notified about when I went to administration they stated that they would investigate. That happened in Nov. it is now Jan. and they have yet to do anything also they have several among several disciplinary problems that are obviously to much to handle for administration. His teacher is unorganized, has no classroom management, and is obviously straight out of school. This sadly will be the last and only year my son will be attending this school.
This Turkish organization is serving a predominantly Black and Latino community, but decided it would disgrace the former African-American Principal with a racist fabrication; basically lied on a good Man, and then this past school year, this Turkish Organization, let go approximately 25 African-American Teachers and Dean’s from the Elementary school as well as the Middle and High Schools. Everyone, including foreigners think it is OK treat the Black and Latino community like their lives don’t matter! Can anyone say Class Action Discrimination Lawsuit???
