Very unorganized with keeping children at their grade level and let children fall behind greatly. they give so many road blocks for children to get work completed can be very frustrating.They give homework that can be only done with a teacher or lab present which is only offered on specific days and times and thats if not cancelled. Twice as much homework than a regular high school. Once you check into school once that day you can not return a second time in one day even for a class thats provided at a specific time and days. Its all a headache here.
Worked here almost a year as a security guard. Was terminated because of some unproffesional staff having beef with each other. A veteran teacher and my self were talking about a new AR 15 he just purchased and staff got scared and we’re concerned for their safety. Because when two Veterans talk about weapons by text at the school it is a problem. Principal of the school is at the campus once in a blue moon. Honestly they aren’t really military friendly, and slot of gossip , and unprofessional staff.
I called this school wanting to talk with the Tulare counselor because Deidre from Kings Valley Academy told me that Jeanny Spence was no longer working there. The front desk secretary told me that she would tell him to talk to me in regards of how FAFSA works but I never got a call back. I honestly thought this high school program was more professional and caring than traditional public high schools but they are either worser or the same that doesn’t care about their students and lie towards them.
