The counselors at moorpark high really don’t care about you or really anyone. To the point where if there is an issue they’ll push it back and try to make it seem less important (even if it is). There a lot of holes so since it’s raining, it sucks. Most of the math department aren’t very good at teaching. So if you get a crappy teacher, they’ll guarantee you an F or D (even if you try). The food is good but they’re very strict on how you get it and whay you can get. Like all I wanted was an apple and water and they denied me (I had money to pay for it sooo). Their textbooks are older than the school pretty much and they’re marked up pretty badly. Staff members tend to take anvantage of their power over students. If you play sports, they obviously care more about you and pretty much you’ll get away with anything. But hey moorpark high, I’ll give you that one star simply because the students there are nice and good people, plus I’ll admit; you do have some nice teacher (even if they’re limited).
Great athletics, great music program, great sci/math department, awesome school clubs, excellent school culture. That said, terrible counselors (strongly suggested I “not take AP” cause they were sick of my dad emailing them, plus they constantly lose my paperwork), limited parking, awful foreign language department, unfriendly English department. This is coming from an AP student, so Idk how the CP experience is, but overall a fantastic school with minor issues.
This is the best highschool in the world, and anyone who disagrees can take it up with Ada, a.k.a, the Shredder, the most popular girl at Moorpark High.
