Horrible Experience – Neglect and Unprofessionalism at Reynoldsburg Kiddie Academy

I am writing this review to share my extremely disappointing and distressing experience with Kiddie Academy. My child was hurt at this facility, and the staff’s response was nothing short of appalling. Their communication absolutely suck.

During a recent incident, my child was bitten by another child. When I approached the staff about this, they seemed indifferent and dismissive, pretending to care but clearly showing no real concern for my child’s well-being. The most shocking part was the director’s reaction. She had the audacity to say, “Your child is not the only one that got bitten. On the same day, this child bit more than three other children.” Instead of showing any remorse or taking responsibility, the director seemed almost proud of this fact because I only got call from director because I reported this incident to county children service. When I went to pick up my kids, the random staff was like “here is the incident report that your child was bite by another children” and that’s all they said initially.

This raises serious questions about the level of supervision and care provided at this facility. How can a single child bite more than three children in one day under the watch of four staff members overseeing just twelve kids? This is a glaring example of neglect and unprofessionalism.

It is clear that the staff at Reynoldsburg Kiddie Academy are not adequately trained or equipped to handle the children in their care. The safety and well-being of the children should be the top priority, but it seems to be the last thing on their minds.

I strongly advise any parent considering Kiddie Academy to think twice before enrolling their child here. The lack of concern and responsibility exhibited by the staff and director is unacceptable, and I fear for the safety of any child left in their care.

Please, for the sake of your child’s safety and well-being, avoid Kiddie Academy at all costs.

I would love to have a great review about this facility however I haven’t had one. Communication skills are poor as well as professionalism from start to end. During my tour I was told a different price than what I actually am currently paying. However they are the only facility that buses to a prek program offered through Reynoldsburg schools. She has been enrolled for about 3 weeks and not once but twice they have forgotten to transport my child to pre k. They later informed me that due to hour changes at her pre k program they would not be able to accommodate transport….but guess when I was informed…the first day of transport after they had been given a week and half notice. The same week my daughter was pushed by another child and had a knot on her forehead, when asked what kind of medical treatment was given I was told “we can give her a ice pack” my question was why wasn’t this already done. Next my child has been out sick for an entire week and I am still expected to pay full tuition regardless of her absence due to a sickness I couldn’t prepare for or prevent. Considering my experience thus far you would think some sort of grace would be given however it has not. They set expectation to return calls and give updates that never happen unless you continue to call. They utilize a tadpole app to communicate nap times, meals and activities that is almost never filled out or completed. I have to ask my child what she ate everyday. Moral of the story save yourself the headache and enroll your child some place else. Staff never seem enthusiastic or happy to be there and my daughter dreads going at 4 years old. As a parent I have to listen to my child and place her someplace that she feels happy and safe.
My children have been attending this daycare 5 years going on 6 , always helpful and supportive of me and my children. Haven’t ever skipped a beat always working with me and show love to everyone. I seen some reviews but honestly it’s changed I love the staff and administrators very trust worthy and amazing. My children will continue to go here until they out grow and if I have another child they will attend here
