I would give the school a half but it doesn’t do half stars . My 6 grade was very good the teachers understood the concept and knew how to teach it. My 7th grade year was the worst because the team I was on was a bad team. 1 of my teachers cared more about sending kids out of the room for no reason or signing planners. 40 mins out of the whole class he was spent talking about something else. If someone went to sharpen there pencil or blow there nose he would sign there planner. Which I think that is a little strange because if the need to do it,they need to do it to keep going during class. The only tip I would give teachers is understand how people learn best. The reason I say this is because my 7th grade teacher would hand us the notes and barely teach us the subject. I would rather have a blank piece of paper and just have to write what you say or what is written on a powerpoint than do that. The reason is because it keeps you interacted because if you look away or talk to someone you can’t get the notes and if you fail a test or quiz thats on you. Also it will get us ready for high school. Another option is make it fun!
I’m a student in apex middle school right now, and since the year started in 2016 its been bad. Some of the teachers that i have are too mean, don’t explain things well during class, & are over dramatic of certain things. Kids are yelling to new people “ugly” or “you look like crap” but the teachers don’t notice. We’re like prisoners basically in this school. We can’t sit with other people during lunch, or even stand in DIFFERENT HALLWAYS or the teachers will yell at you and threaten to ‘sign your planner’. It’s pretty bad. I’m only rating it 3 stars because some teachers are actually decent and I met a few of my closest friends in this school. I’ve already been in a lot of drama but the guidance counselors barely do anything. And the bathrooms are disgusting and literally one time all the toilets were closed for a week. Bad service.
Going to the principles office for dabbing in 7th grade is a very good story. word of advice, if pterra every sees you flip a water bottle be very calm, she feed off of fear. slowly turn around and full out sprint the opposite direction, if there is no where to run then act like an autistic dinosaur and make a loud pterodactyl noise. Also i am leaving the school this year and if anyone sees a mouse in the cafeteria his name is algernon and he lives with the cockroaches.
