I was a former student here at Hart Street Elementary. I had a very pleasant time at this school, everyone was always in a good mood, wanted spread positive energy, and overall this school is very exquisite. The teachers at this school are also astonishing teachers they have the ability to not only teach the students, but they also become the students friends. All though this school is outstanding I have a few complaints. In my fourth grade year I had an amazing year, yet I had to sit in ordinary chairs. Which was fine I guess. What really pushed my buttons though was that when I went to the 5th grade they replaced the ordinary chairs with extordinary yoga balls. I let that one slide, but you won’t believe what happened at the end of my 5th grade year! They also replaced the ordinary chairs with yoga balls. Like what the actual hell. Were the fifth graders of 2017 not good enough? I want answers now.EDIT:I’ve received news from a anonymous source that the fifth graders of 2018 were given a dance at the end of the year. You’re probably thinking “Queen Vale why are you upset?” Well I’m upset because in my fifth grade year I didn’t get a dance. I’m also upset because my culmination was held in a crusty musty and dusty auditorium meanwhile the fifth graders of 2018’s culmination was held in a beautiful newly built pavilion, which may I add we had to wait 5 months for it to be built therefore we had to eat in the auditorium which was sad because the loudness would echo and it hurt my sensitive ears.
This school is trashy. The administrators do not approach serious bullying my little sister got beat up at school by a boy I looked for the principle couldn’t find him so left him a note to call me and explained never heard from him the kid still attends the school nothing was done the front office is not helpful they only give attitude and look at you like you’re crazy nothing has improved, the teachers aren’t any more helpful this whole school really needs a reality check
This is a very good school for kids to begin their school, the teacher encourage the kids to learn and yes if they find your kid is falling behind they will try their best to help them out of the pottle, all kids eat for free all the time and they try their best to push your kid to a greater academic achievement, At hart they know that elementary school is the base of their future!!!
