I go to the lady who is stamping report cards and collecting money .I advise her that my kid is struggling with two of the books and I feel like maybe they need to be switched out and are we make some kind of modification. The lady got really Snappy and rude made some unnecessary comments that were unnecessary she assumed that I wasn’t teaching my kid or homeschooling my kid and I was just being lazy She kept saying you to teach him over and over. Was yelling making a scene in front of everyone. I have gone beyond the call of duty of helping my child with their education. This woman doesn’t know the hardships that my family has faced regarding learning disabilities at all. She just got mad because she had to stop everything she was doing and go pull some books or ask somebody else for help. She made a scene yelling in front of everyone putting it out there that my kid was struggling( our business ) for all the people who were sitting down waiting to be seen to hear. It was so embarrassing and humiliating. I am pulling my kid out next Tuesday. I don’t have a good feeling about it moving forward.
We will not be returning at all. I would have never expected this type of behavior out of a Christian School. This lady doesn’t even know me! She didn’t even ask any questions she just assumed because my kid was struggling and I asked for help.

I have educated three children from Gateway Christian School at Horn Lake. And my brother. Excellent customer service. They really care about the students that other people don’t care about. Many of the students go on to college. My son has travelled the world after graduating from Gateway and then College. My middle child is a freelance photographer and professional drummer. My youngest has scholarship offers from several different colleges. I am very pleased with Gateway Christian School Horn Lake. The curriculum is what you make of it. They give you the basic concepts of the state curriculum. The students have to learn on their own or with tutors. The parent or Guardian is free to use additional resources to enhance the child’s education. I took full advantage of the curriculum and added cultural tours and Educational Tours to enhance their learning.

This place is awful. I would not recommend and the lady at the front desk needs to be fired
All the workers in this school are rude, but I do not recommend this school at all. Terrible school don’t send your kids here . Upon arrival however, I soon discovered, to my sorrow, that the school was evil and they treated me with a degree of disrespect that you would not believe, until it actually happens to you.
