Our 19 month old son was recently kicked out of this location. He had only been there since June (no significant daycare experience due to the pandemic). He did well until he was moved to the 18th month old class, which happened in October. Since then, they changed the staff constantly and combined classes constantly. This obviously created a stressful environment for our son who was still getting used to this daycare. But instead of helping, they began to single him out. One day, they told us that he was acting up and that they were going to monitor him. We then had a conference call with them to go over his progress. During this call, we were told that he was doing better and was meeting expectations. Two weeks later, Nicky (or whatever her name is) stops mom during drop off and gives her the bad news about no longer being welcomed at this school. I called and ask for an explanation and questioned Nicky and explained that we felt misled and disappointed about how they handled the situation. Later on that day, I was called to go get him. None of them faced me or even try to talk with me. They just ignored me and acted unprofessionally.

Yes, my son was struggling and needed a little more dedication. What angers me the most is the response I got from Nicky. She said. “the bottom line is that we need to satisfy the need and concerns of the other parents and that our son had gotten worse”. I called the owner Paula and while she apologized about how they mishandled the situation, they still charged us for the rest of the month. We had to take days off to find a new place risking losing our jobs, etc. I will never recommend this school to anyone because at this location, they will only be loyal and helpful to you as long as your kid meets their expectations. Otherwise, they will discard you child like trash. I mean why would they care? They have a waiting list and their business will do just fine.

Our child attends Goddard School North Ridgeville and loves every minute of it. We have attended 2 other childcare facilities and toured other Goddard Schools in the area and nothing compares. The security, owners, directors and teaching staff at this school are top notch. Our daughter is treated with respect and kindness and is constantly nurtured by the staff. We truly have “peace of mind” knowing our child is in such great hands. The play-based curriculum is outstanding and we are thrilled to see our daughter so excited about learning. The teaching staff takes pride in their lesson plans and puts together such well thought out learning centers that are both educational and fun! We are also so impressed with the amount of communication we receive about what is going on at the school well in advance so we can plan accordingly. We are so grateful to have found the Goddard School North Ridgeville and to be part of this caring family!
I’ve been searching for a daycare or school option since my wife passed 2 months ago. I toured this location with my son who has never been in a daycare or school setting. I felt very unwelcomed. I was shown the classrooms from the hallway but wasn’t told about the curriculum, the daily activities and wasn’t introduced to any of the staff, the person who gave me the tour didn’t even give me the courtesy of introducing themselves. After the tour concluded I was told “my son could be an issue”. Later I received an email basically telling me to look elsewhere and attached was a link for special education. I’ve had my son checked by his doctor multiple times but they assumed he is and it seems if your child is different they aren’t welcome.
