Very disappointed with this school. I thought this would be a different experience for my daughter. Was very excited when she got off the waiting list. She tried out for volleyball and made the team. Got a call from the school telling me she made it just to find out a few weeks later by my daughter not the school or any coaches that she was no longer in the team. Suspicious!! I called the coach and left a voicemail trying to find out what happened and no return call from her. Next incident was my daughter was in a fight to where she was defending herself because someone else was pushing another girl to fight my daughter. As my daughter proceeds to go to her next class the girls are waiting on her. The girl hit my daughter and orcourse my daughter defended herself not knowing she was going to be expelled for Defending herself. Then the day of meeting with the dean, guidance counselor, and a teacher, they demanded for me to make a decision on to where I had to sign her up for Alternative school, or online! I never met the principal who made that decision!!! I really DON’T RECOMMEND this school or any other Middle school in Palm Bay!!! Very upsetting because I’m a single parent who they wanted to take my daughter to an alternative school for 2 days and then 3 days for online! Set up for failure when I know my daughter isn’t online material. The Guidance Counselor was very nice and supportive and explained everything to my understanding!

I’ve been at odyssey schools since pre-k. (Roughly 9-10 years.) I’m not gonna lie, the elementary school on eldron ia a much better choice for pre-k til 5th grade. Once you hit 6th and go to the jr/sr it gets horrible. There may be a zero tolerance policy for fighting but immediate expulsion? That’s way too far, once expelled you must wait 2 days for alternative schooling (A.L.C.) or 3 days for online. Their food variety isn’t terrible, but regardless if you are vegan, kosher, or something of the sort, pack a lunch, this school doesn’t give the greatest alternatives. Another thing to be mentioned, if you have allergies, you can’t sit anywhere unless the allergy isn’t deathly or you take medication for it, because of the fact this school doesn’t really care. They don’t care where you sit so, please make a good choice if you go here and ask around. Another thing i feel that this school does terribly is communication. First of all, if your child, 7th-10th is in AVID this year, or anytime around this, they don’t tell you anything about feild trips, your child will be given a paper to give to you, and sometimes not even everyone gets to go on this feild trip, yet your expected to pay ahead and find out later on if or if not your child gets to go on this feild trip. So yeah. Don’t go here don’t waste your time and money, this school sucks.

As a parent of students in both the Eldron campus and the Jr/Sr high campus, I must say that my experience with the Jr/Sr high admin and staff has not been pleasing.
These children have silent lunch just about everyday, there have been plenty of incidents that have occurred with no communication with the parents, students don’t even have enough time to grab their lunch and sit peacefully to eat lunch. Hallways are over crowded and the solution is one way hallways when you bring all of your concerns up to administrators it seems as if everyone just tells you what you want to hear to keep you moving along.
