This nursing school is by far not what it used to be. I know person’s who went there years ago and who said it used to be better. The office staff is so disrespectful, they don’t communicate with the students. I heard a staff referred to some of us as being sponsored so it doesn’t matter if we go or stay. When we were finished with the course they refused to give us the certificate s stating that we have to do prometric exam and pass before we get them. We and our teacher had to go to the office and let them know it is not right what they are doing, Even if so e of us was sponsored we still deserve respect. The nursing board needs to evaluate their license. The Owner named Kayla never once came to us and address us, they didn’t even take our pictures. The program is not structured properly we spent nearly over three weeks reading the book in class and one week practicing the skills, that doesn’t make sense at all. We could always read the book in our own time but the skills we needed more time to practice. One week was not enough. The teacher was a bad person too, I won’t say what he did because I was apart of it. But that school is horrible.
I dont normally give reviews but I highly recommend BNA! I entered BNA with no knowledge of the medical Field or what I really wanted to do. Today, I passed my CNA state exam, something that I never thought id be doing. And I give thanks to my instructor Mrs Marcia Jackson. She is an amazing teacher, she took time to really explain medical information I didnt understand as well show us how to be successful doing our skills. And she never got tired of answering my questions, she is my Angel! And like her, the rest of the staff are just amazing from the secretary (Stephanie) who convinced me that I could do the CNA program to Mrs Mardella who helped guide me through clinicals. Truly an amazing school who care and go over and beyond. Thank you Brevard Nursing Academy, I pray I can one day come back for the LPN program with Mrs Marcia hopefully as an LPN instructor! ??
If I could give no stars I would. I just called and tried to information on the this school and asked about other schools around that were competitive and the Lady that answer my call was rude. She would not answer my questions and kept saying she was not going to speak against another school and that was not a question that I even asked. She also kept doing it several times. I stated to her that I did not ask you those questions.I eventually ended the call by just hanging up on her. To the Lady that was rude and very unprofessional you really should not be working there if you dont want to answer questions or give any information on your institution. Now your Nursing school just missed out on a paid in full tuition. Thanks to you! Now another Nursing school with way better stars got me. The person that help me also will be getting paid for helping me find a place to stay.
