Please DO NOT send your kids to this school. If it had not been for our BCBA or RBT coming in to help the teachers with my child’s behaviors we would not have known about the neglect that is happening there. If teachers and staff are neglecting kids in front of observers, how are they treating your child when observers aren’t there? There is no instruction being implemented at any time.
We asked for a meeting several times and our meeting requests were ignored. We requested for our child to be moved to another room and the director informed us that she talked with his therapists who recommended that he stay in his current classroom. When the owners of the therapy clinic reached out to me, they informed me that the director/owner had never even reached out to his therapists to ask their opinion on this matter.
If you are still considering this school, PLEASE do your research!
My son is in his 4th year at Compass and there is no place I would rather he be. He gets a lot of variety of ways of teaching him and they believe in him, pray for him and love him.
Love this school! Wish there was a school like this when my son was growing up and have a daughter currently enrolled there and thriving!
