A few years ago, I decided to improve my English skills by booking classes in a language school. However, I didn’t just want to be an occasional tourist, but also learn a lot more about the culture in the U.S. I remember spending a lot of time searching for “the perfect school” – and I’m glad that I chose Kings! In the end, I stayed for a year (completed all levels and passed my Cambridge exam).
The staff is amazing and extremely helpful in different situations (problems with roommates, answers to visa questions or just about the different activities for the weekend) and the teachers are not just patient, but they also put heart and soul into their work so you can reach your goals!
The activities are changing regularly so you’ll definitely find enough stuff that interest you and also will bring you closer to the culture.
I met some amazing friends and even years later, I have contact with them. I definitely recommend you visiting!
The certificates didn’t just help me get my first internship after high school in Germany, but helped me getting better grades in Business English in University than I ever had in high school 🙂

There are hundreds of restaurants, cafes and bars right near the College in Hollywood. You can eat out cheaply or can go for a more expensive meal if you feel like it!

Food from Asia, China, India, Italy, France, USA cuisine and many more countries is all widely available.

I studied at Kings LA for nearly 8 months last year. The teachers and stuff members are very professional and they really take good care of their students. I went there with a few health issues but they never became serious during my stay. Kings LA always has very diverse environment in terms of ethnicity and nationality. I really enjoyed to get to know students from all over the world. The diversity is a great advantage to brush up your language skills as much as your basic communication skills. Since the location of the school is in the heart of LA(Hollywood), you never get bored and it’s not difficult to find an activity after school. At the end of your course, I’m sure you’re gonna have so many friends.
