Not a good idea for elementary kids to be around middle schoolers. My kids were exposed to some nasty inappropriate things that were said to them by other kids. My daughter was sexually harassed by another student on the field. I was told that nothing could be done because there was no actual proof, like the cameras. Later that year two other girls came forward about him touching there bottoms “on accident”. They finally called in the parents, the parents were the ones that pulled there nasty kid out because they felt their kid was being targeted! This should have never happened to other girls, my daughter should have been enough! I don’t feel like many teachers genuinely care about the kids, they care about their grades, and that’s it. Some teacher can be bullies too. I’m referring to Mrs. Reggans. She seem to have an issue with my daughter, my daughter was a 4.0 student, and kept to herself. All I can think about was that my daughter was byracial, and she maybe didn’t like that. I have no clue. But when I confronted her she said only good things about my daughter, and was super nice. My daughter said she was two faced. So sad. Kids are pushed to hard. Absolutely hate this school, too many cons.
This was our first year at BLRA and we have been thrilled with all of the staff, teachers, communication, technology and more. Our two sons were supported and both reported that they had the best school year yet. Our oldest son’s reading improved drastically and I appreciate all the school work both our children would bring home, showing us just how much they accomplished everyday in school. I felt their homework was minimal but we had the option to work on things with them that were not mandatory to return as homework for the next day. We are excited for year two at BLRA and would highly recommend this school for elementary education. ??
This is not the same school my kids started at. I have a Junior and a 6th grader. Both started here in Kindergarten. “The Prep” (High School/Middle School) has an awesome staff and practically no turnover. Now for the “Ranch” Elementary School…the turn over is astronomical. They have lost so many good leaders and educators. There are probably two original staff members left. It is not at all the same School I enrolled my kids at in Kindergarten. My poor 5th grader has been affected the most. Luckily she will be going to the Prep next year. To the board of the Ranch: Stop ? chasing away our beloved educators. What is going on!?!?
