… Even though it’s from many lifetimes ago.
I must start off with a striking confession that, I unfortunately,
did not attend Hebron Highscool.
In fact, I actually went to Creek View High School down the street… but I did however, have tons of friends, teammates from private city league sports, church, and of course, a couple of girlfriends I dated. I even did the whole “double prom” experience one year at both Creek View’s and Hebron’s Prom night. Me and my schools Varsity teammates had friends on Hebron’s Varsity football team that we would talk trash about and boast who’s football team would win in a real game, and not just a scrimmage.
Funny enough, we did bigly and made it to the playoffs.. but my senior year y’all topped that and went on to win a State Champiomship.
I did of course love my high school experience, Varsity sports, talent shows, and the teachers were fantastic, but I did always wonder what if my district line that divides which families go to which schools, was just a few streets closer, and what it would have been like attending Hebron.
Thinking back on it over the years after I finished college, Ive had friends that were teachers at Hebron and told me all the wonderful programs and success that the school as had Over the years. They even expanded nicely and have one of the best ninth grade programs in the state all on its own campus. Plus they are one of the select few schools that offer special courses for building paths for after high school as well as college preperation and AVID for select students. I think that’s pretty cool.
I am more than confident I would have excelled at Hebron just as Harry Potter would have done great at Slytherin, don’t hate, and I know that this is a great and competitive school and will be for years to come.
Ps-Please do not show to my highschool or girlfriend
