If I could give this place negative stars, I would.
I called and asked about the summer camp for my child in April. They never told me from the beginning that they are full. They wait for me to pay $150 the registration fee to secure the place and then told me they are full right now. If I know they don’t have space for summer camp for my child, I would not paid $150 just to be on the waiting list for only 2 months of summer break whereas I can enroll him into somewhere else. Right after I paid the registration, I got the email said to schedule the orientation. So I called them back right away to schedule next Monday for orientation. Next Monday when I came which I had to take off from work, the director told me I need to fill out the form so I asked her can I filled out right now and gave them back because I already took a day off for today just to go there and do their paperwork. She said no because it could be more convenient to her for me to come back next week for the orientation. So I lose my work day to got there for nothing. Next Monday again which I had to take off from work again when I went there to hand them all the paperwork they asked to fill out, the director told me oh today not for me, she had an appointment with somebody else. She will email me later. Who would want to pay $150 just to be on the waiting list for only 2 month of summer camp? They should just tell me right from when I called the school about the summer camp so I don’t have to waste my time and money to do all the touring, take 2 days off just to go there for nothing. And now I take another weeks off from work to watch my kid. If you can’t provide the service, just refund the registration fee back and I go pay somewhere else. Now I call them to ask to fix the issues, all I hear is the director go on vacation. It has been over a week that she is on vacation. All they want is for you to pay the money and sit there and wait. Don’t bother to send your child over there when all they show is the lack of professionalism and organization.
I do not recommend to send your kid here.
As part of the Primrose chain, I had high hopes for this daycare. We started my son in the summer program 1 week after he had surgery to remove his adenoids. We were expecting him to still be a little emotional as he was still on daily pain medication, but were surprised to be called 2 out of 5 days to pick him up within 2 hours of drop off. I would think that they would have floaters and processes to help a child adjust to a new program. I requested in writing footage of his meltdown with his teacher on Friday, and never received a response. We were then phoned on Friday afternoon by the Director, stating that they were not equipped to provide care for my son and that a refund check for the weeks I had paid in advance would be waiting for me to pickup the following Monday. I requested my application fee also be refunded, and the school has refused. My son is now at day 5 in what was originally our 2nd choice daycare and has not had any incidents. I wish we would have went with them in the first place and not relied on the Primrose name.
I could not be more grateful we made the decision to put our son at Primrose Castle Hills. As a new mom, I had so much anxiety around putting my most precious gift in the hands of others. From the first moments of my tour, I felt so much peace. Our son has now been there in the infant class since the start of the year, and he is thriving. He loves his teachers and is growing so much every day. I can’t say enough about the leadership and teachers. The leadership team knows all of the kids and is so on top of daily operations. The teachers are so amazing I could cry. Our son’s teachers know him, treat him as an individual, love him, and invest in his development daily. They send updates of all of his activity and learning, and all the pictures and videos get me through my day! To know that he is happy, learning, safe, and loved means the world to me.
