We only had the opportunity to attend Wedgwood for one year, but my kids never fail to bring up how much they loved it there. As a parent who has homeschooled for many years and also has sent her kids to public school, I really appreciate their model, flexibility, and encouragement for parents and students. My kids felt LOVED by staff and students. They appreciated the ample social and outdoor time. The teachers care, the class size is unbelievable compared to other schools, and the students can learn at the level where they belong. In retrospect, it was such a gift to be able to take my multiple kids all to the same school too. While it wont be the right fit for every student, the administration has a heart to do what is right for the family and child. We really miss WAN!
Wedgwood Academy North is absolutely amazing! They love their students as they love their own children. They are a family. They teach and reach their students on their level, academically and emotionally, and work with parents to see the growth that we all want to see in our children. If you are a homeschooler who also wants your children to experience a classroom setting with learning how to work in groups, respect outside authority, classroom parties, field trips, etc., then this is the place for you! The classes are just the right size so that your child’s need can be met and thrive!
Wedgwood is an awesome school! My daughter has always loved school, but I have never seen her so excited about learning till this year. The class sizes are great, and the kids really get the one on one learning experience. I always thought about homeschooling, but I knew I couldnt do it on my own. Wedgwood gives me the opportunity to work with my kids 3 days a week. They plan the curriculum and they do the grading it makes the time I do work with my kids so much easier!
