We feel so fortunate to have found Nicoles program- our son loves it and grumbles when we arrive to pick him up. He has benefitted greatly from the social opportunities provided and the many options for crafts and toys. Nicole has been a pleasure to interact with- shes creative, warm, attentive, collaborative, a great communicator, and often goes the extra mile to support us and our child. She understands the vulnerability parents experience when entrusting the care of their child to someone else and does not take it lightly. Our child has attended both her after-school (he recently started his second school year with her) and summer programs and we hope to remain with her until he ages out. Her rates are more than reasonable and we appreciate that she considers how to make quality childcare accessible to as many as possible.
As a first-time parent to a TK student, I didnt realize how difficult it was to find after school care. I called several places and got shot down due to shortage in program funding or my child was too young (age at least 5). I was lucky to find the Commonwealth Schoolhouse from an online mom group. It is a cute little place to drop off kids after school. Its clean, safe, and full of activities for kids all ages. My child would come home with cute little crafts. Working with Nicole has also been an absolute joy. She took the time to answer all my questions and to understand our needs. I felt very comfortable leaving my child in her care. Definitely recommend for working parents who need that extra support!
Commonwealth School House has been a godsend. We reached out to Ms. Nicole when we were looking for the right aftercare program for our Kindergartener. Ms. Nicole primarily works with students from Ellerhorst Elementary School, but she went above and beyond, helping us brainstorm transportation so our son could attend her program. Commonwealth provides a loving, low key environment and our son loves it there (in fact, he begs to stay longer every day at pick up!) Ms. Nicole provides all the toys a kid could want and gives kids the freedom to explore while providing a safe, guiding presence. Ms. Nicole is a gift and I am so grateful for the loving care she takes of our son.
