Small school setting making learning easier . The school is more like a family where everyone knows each other . There is alot of help available and if the staff feels like the students need more resources they will create them . I have never had a bad nor a lazy teacher . Every friday is campus friday where we would spend the day at Bronx Community College learning the curriculum. Lots of regents prep classes . Every staff member down to the ladies in the main office wants to see you succeed.
This was a great school, I graduated in 2018. The only downfall is certain students tend to get on your nerves but there’s a no fighting rule (meaning you fight once, you get kicked out even if you didn’t start it.) which is understandable because they are teaching you about avoiding drama at all cost, doing what you have to do (which is getting your credits and learning) and moving on to the next steps of education.
I absolutely love this school, everyone one on the staff is dedicated to helping you succeed, and bettering your self. it was hard enough being a single parent while going to this school, but the staff helped make it 10 times easier. The principal Carol Wiggins is one of the sweetest people you will ever meet, but is very strict when it comes to your school work.
