My son is in kindergarten at VOICE and he has had a wonderful experience so far. He loves the music curriculum (he asked Santa to bring him his own keyboard!) and he is always singing his choral songs around the house. He has made wonderful strides in reading and writing, and when his initial math scores were below grade level, his teacher and teaching assistant worked hard with him to help him understand the concepts and were proactive in helping me understand how I could help him at home. The class has also been on a number of field trips this year, from the Bronx Zoo to Alley Pond Conservation Center to the Metropolitan Museum, and I’m very happy wth how this is helping to reinforce my son’s natural curiosity and excitement about the world. I was thrilled when I first learned that my son had been offered a spot at VOICE, and they have not let me down.
