The five stars is definitely for the Administration. Ms. Cooper is great. I have been a parent, grandparent, aunt, since 1993. 2018-19 has been a terrible .
Some teachers are making students feel FHSA is not the place to be. Those kids are human being and not animals so teacher need to stop hollering and rolling they eyes at them. All students should be treated equal. Teacher gossip is awful at FHSA. They spend more time gossiping about a student than they do teaching them and it is getting back to the parent. You know who you are. My child tried out for Elementary cheerleading and second grade teacher is the Cheer Coach. I have questions her several times about her not posting grades in a timely manner and also about her yelling and embarrassing her in front of the class, taking my conference time and giving it to a white parents, giving her behaviors for hear say from her pets and several others incidents. Because of this she didn’t choose her for cheerleading. I knew she wasn’t going to choose her but my daughter wanted to tryout so I let her. She is a 3 year National cheerleader, she has cheered on the sideline with FHSA Cheerleaders several times . I went to the cheer parent meeting which was full of lies. The so called cheer camp was rigged. The made up Constitution wasn’t followed correctly. No experienced judges which was cheer coaches friend. Judges should have been selected differently. Color should not have mattered. Cheer Coach should not mistreat my child because of me making sure her learning environment is right for her. Last but not least the cheer and chant was not terrible for tryouts.
Now personally, I didn’t won’t her to cheer under that Cheer Coach anyway but she wanted to so I gave her a chance to see for herself the jealousy and hatred her teacher showed against her. Everything works the good ! Love FHSA! Great Job Ms. Cooper.
We have a 3rd grader and about to have a Kindergartener here as well! Leadership is so important in a school and this place has the strongest leaders. Mrs. Cooper, Mrs. Kirkpatrick and Mr. Anderson are an amazing team. You can sense a strong school culture wherever you go. All three of our teachers so far have been great. Essentials teachers are a great crew as well, Music, Art, Robotics and P.E. Forest Heights has it all. If you’re on the fence about applying, don’t be. FHSA is a public school parent’s dream come true.
I will have to say the teachers here are the best , no matter how they move them in and out and around …. the Adminstration is a totally different story … I won’t blast on here , that isn’t right . But I will say investigate before you commit your child here . Or before you know it you will be investing in a lawyer to defend your child against false allegations egged on by admins . If you go here caution your child about what they talk about with their friends .
