The faculty is HORRIBLE. My daughter attended this school for the beginning of 3rd grade. I removed her after the Thanksgiving break. She brought home her grades and they were the worst she’s ever had. So I reached out to the teacher.

I asked her if there was any make up work my daughter could do to bring up her grades. Or could she at least finish any incomplete work for partial credit. The teacher said no because they are in the “intermediate grades”.

I asked how is it that college and high school students are allowed to do make up work, but my 3rd grader isn’t? I also asked her as a teacher why is she so comfortable with allowing my child to fail, rather than give her a chance? She never responded to me email.

There was also an incident where they called me at 7:45am teilling me I needed to come pick my daughter up because she was misbehaving. I get there to pick her up and she’s in the classroom (no other students) with the teacher and principal standing there like prison guards. The way they acted you would’ve thought she was throwing furniture around the room. SHE WAS ONLY WHISTLING! So I was late to work and had to find other arrangements for my child because they couldn’t handle her whistling. Everyone from the principal on down could use some training.

As for my child she is now on the straigh A honor roll.

My daughter is very happy at this school. They have great teachers who really care about the success of their students. I’m proud to be a parent of a William’s Magnet student.
