Horrible experience at this school. Perhaps now that principal “Brent” has left the school may get better. I mean, just leaving makes it better. Advertising about anti-bullying yet doesn’t action what he preaches. My son was bullied almost all year by one kid. Fat shaming, smashing his food in his lunch box so he couldn’t eat and many other incidents all by the one kid. Same kid held another child against a wall in the toilet block and made him urinate in his clothing. All this by a prep child.
I know of another girl in a higher grade who was punched in the face by a boy which left swelling and a bruise for a week. However being on a program prior to school ON SCHOOL GROUNDS, again no action was placed because it was not on their time. Things like this needs to be addressed especially when they are young and impressionable. If they get away with this now then they will grow up thinking this is acceptable. Violence against girls/women/men or boys is NEVER okay. I would expect the principle to at least address the topic in an assembly.
They have allowed children to walk off the premises and then calling the parent to sort it out. Other than all this, there is barely any communication from the school.

I have moved my child schools to Capalaba State College and it has been the best decision our family have made. I also know of a lot of families that have moved their children school based of the lack of care given.

As far as I am concerned, I would not trust this school with my children’s safety.

Rather then taking any suggestions in, this post will just be brushed off. He is known to retaliate which is unprofessional.

So hopefully now the schools reputation can be repaired from the damage he has done. Consequences need to be made when necessary and these young students need guidance.

A school where your child isn’t just another number but a valued student. The staff are so dedicated and know all the students by first name.
