the amount of unprofessionalism in this rathole is insane.
the hygiene is non-existent. literally have seen rats under the lockers and bugs on the canteen food. There’s also a heavy bullying problem, half the girls here are addicted to gossiping about others and teachers don’t help at all.
If you want to traumatize your still growing child for the next 6 years of their life this is the perfect place to ship them off to.
i also got beef with a specific art teacher because she told me that Afghanistan and Iran is in Africa where do yall hire these absolutely braindead people
also half the student population here vapes in the school bathroom and idk if the teachers are too ignorant to realize or they’re actually dumb can’t figure it out.
the students of this school are incredibly disrespectful on public transport,

every day these kids push, shove and block the doors to the tram, they take up priority seating and and crowd the tram. I have been smacked countless times by the students bags.
on numerous occasions they smoke their E-cigarettes on the trams next to other elderly people and kids.

then once they get to Parliament train station they push and shove on the escalators one of them falling on me and almost pushing me down the flight of stairs, if i try to use the elevator I am met with coarse language,no manners and unruly behavior.

this has made me avoidant of wanting to use public transport due do their behavior

I hope some education and awareness can be given to these students so we can all have a positive experience on public transport

this is the collective experience of myself and other tram/train riders who have had to experience the actions of the students at your collage

I’m a freshman year 7 here, it’s my first day and I already love this school.
All the girls are so quiet – in primary school with a mix of boys and girls, it’s like a DJ party.
When the teacher speaks, all the girls listened without interrupting and fidgeting with things.
The teachers are very nice, the school is very neat and spacious.
I was watching a post of the year 12 students leave the college for the last time in 2020 last week and it brought back memories of my daughter’s happy years at the Academy. It was a bitter sweet day when my daughter Milly Bridgman along with her beautiful friends, who remain a big part of her life, left AMI in 2009. She has taken the values and life lessons with her from this wonderful school that continue to stand her in good stead.
I’m forever grateful that I was able to give her this education and experience
As a previous year 7 here, the school does great in keeping the students academically excellent in all areas of study, but they dont really care about the students well being and tell us off for everything. they pretend to care but most teachers dont, its disgusting
