I attended this school about three years ago. I am doing this review now because I didn’t want to accept that I had made a mistake since I have a large ego. This school has lots of problems, from being organized and professional to cleanliness. The student-to-teacher ratio was not accommodating for both parties. For example, only having two teachers for a class of maybe 20 students and all students on different levels of their work packet and feeling like you have to fight other students for the teacher to be by your side. The teachers were sometimes there and sometimes not, so youtube was good old reliable. The staff was also very unprofessional with students. They seemed irritated and annoyed by everything you asked/requested. They would sometimes get into with students or just spread misinformation about specific materials. Communication was poor. I don’t usually judge a book by its cover, but when I first stepped into the school, it was very underwhelming. The materials looked old, and the salon just gave an outdated appearance. I would imagine with the tuition they are getting from students, they would invest into the salon and make it appealing. Please don’t believe all the good reviews. You see, they did ask one of my good friends to leave a good review for them, so do what you want with that information. I hope this helped someone, especially if you are a newbie. I would say this school is for people that already know the craft and require their hours.
I went it for a full set, and it took around 4.5 hours to complete. My nails all starting falling off that same day. When the girl was doing my nails the Director came around and pointed out that she had “forgotten” to prime my nails. She continued doing them without primer and each nail started lifting almost instantly. I told them I was unhappy and although minor changes were made, it was a completely unacceptable experience. I was embarrassed of the nails that I paid for, too embarrassed to post them here. For someone who has been here several times through the years, this was my worst experience yet.
Edit: School contacted me in December(a few months after original visit) and asked to correct my experience with a new free service.
PAY ATTENTION TO THE REVIEWS!!

I was going to try to attend school here. THANK GOD I looked at the reviews first! I’ve SSed some examples.

They try to make excuses when they can’t. Their response to one comment talking about how they are getting enough money to make upgrades FOR THEIR STUDENTS is pathetic! They say they are making constant updates and they just update their restroom. Man! They know EXACTLY what students need! Another response literally knit picks at facts.

The video shows how they will respond to 5 star reviews and gave up paying any attention to anything less.

This school is pathetic and apparently allows racist incidents to happen with pride.
