My kids (10, 8 & 7) and I have been taking violin, viola, and cello classes here. All three of the teachers we work with are WONDERFUL. Richard in particular is knowledgable, clear to understand, and excellent in encouraging even better skill from my son.

Pros: Scheduling was easy. They got everyone in at the same time so it is once and done! (That is hard when working with different instruments.) Keeping up with lessons or canceling lessons is easy; they use a great communication system. I also like the large waiting area. (Other studio wait space are much to small to feel comfortable.)

Con: There are stairs up to the lesson rooms, but they do have some rooms on the ground floor too.

Picture: My serious violinist showing off a completed song with her teacher accompanying her on piano. So sweet!

School : It was quite a disappointing encounter. A makeup class was arranged for my daughter, but unfortunately, the teacher didn’t attend. When I inquired with Iris (the owner), she mentioned that the teacher’s official start date is in September and she’s unaware of how the staff scheduled the makeup class. This situation ended up consuming around 30-40 minutes of our time without any actual makeup class taking place. I truly hope such an incident won’t recur, and there’s a need for more refined scheduling moving forward..
Both of our boys have been taking lesson at Texas Amps and Axes for a while. We love it!! All of the instructors we’ve had have been great (Jarrod, Joe T, JT, and Chris S). The boys have taken drums and guitar. We’ve also had a guitar string replaced in the shop. Everything is so convenient. Iris and Gaela in the office are fantastic!! It’s such a great school and so much fun to be a part of
