The school itself is beautiful and the students put themselves into cliques based of there unique personalities, new teachers have to put there foot down on there first day to earn respect and stay cook with the kids in not a to laid back manner to properly survive the school year. Senior teachers that have been around for quite a long time still hold the same footing as when they first began with giving hearts and determination on teaching children. There are occasional fights and the lunch food is terrible but you have to admit the staff work very hard to pursue our happiness and to assist us into a bright future with endless possibilities. I myself have spent all my middle school years there and even though there was a time I said I really hate this place, I know I was wrong I hated some qualities of the people not the school. To some this up I just wanted to say its a wonderful school and it’ll be pretty sad having nothing to complain about after I promote to 9th grade this 6/8/13
This school is honestly some trash. I’ve been here for 2 years now and I think 7 grade is worst than 6. First of all, the schools itself is old, outdated and DEFINITELY needs to be remodeled. Second, since the cafeteria is so dirty, be ready to see at least 1 mouse(I saw two this year)or a dead one in the gym. Third, the students are horrible. Me myself, im an average. We also have bugs too. Fourth, the food is just as bad. Usually I’d just get a sandwich, orange chicken, or pigs in a blanket. Oh yeah, if you’re thinking of taking your child or yourself to ELO don’t. They used to serve us pizza but now it’s just cold sandwiches. And all we do is go on the laptops and use i ready. Some of the teachers are okay. So, all in all do not take you or your child too this school. Oh yeah I got my binder stolen with all my stuff in it that’s just great. AGAIN DO NOT GO HERE.
The teachers have a negative attitude towards students and the staff cannot control the students at all! Staff is very rude and disrespectful. Teachers and staff are NOT mature and they act like TJMS students themselves. Instead of my child hearing motivational words, she hears yelling and screaming from the staff. Continuously, the faculty really needs some courses and workshops on controlling and managing the students in a proper way. In some incidents, faculty behaves worst than the students. IF YOU SEND YOUR CHILD HERE, MAY GOD BLESS YOU, MY ADVICE TO YOU IS KEEP BOTH EYES ON THE FACULTY AND CHILD BEHAVIOR ON A DAILY BASIS!
