I understand that the supply chain is broken due to COVID-19. Everyone is having issues from big box retailers to mom and pop shops. I get that. However, your level of customer service should not be broken because of this as well. I placed an order back at the end of August. Its almost November and I have had to reach out every single time to get an update. There is not ETA. Ive sent emails and no one responds. All I get is an apology about it. I called Flynn OHaras and they checked their stock levels. Said they didnt have it and it would take 21 days to get it. Risse is so out of touch that theyre waiting for someone from the manufacturing process to reach out to them. At least post a status on your website saying we apologize for the inconvenience and we dont know when items are expected. Except it says clear as day that they have the items in stock and you can walk out with them the same day.
For starters, its pretty expensive. I have been waiting on a shirt and jacket for over 3 weeks. School has started, all they can say is “we will call you when it gets shipped”. Furthermore they do not answer the phone at any time of the day.I had to drive to the store to be told my items were not in yet. I called while I was there to see what was going on, the phone never rang. I was told it only lights up by an employee. I’m truly annoyed with the Risse Brothers.
Update : School has started and several more weeks have gone by. I have been to the store twice. Still no order. It’s now October, I’m not sure how they are running this place.
All previous 1-star reviews are accurate…leadership, management, customer service are lacking at this store. Schools/districts are doing the students and communities a disservice, by limiting us to this vendor for mandated uniforms and clothing items. Online shopping is nonexistent, you have to come into the store, or you can shop somewhere else (as suggested by the employee). That’s not how you do business. But again, I only went there because I had no other option.
Recommendation: Make it a priority to get with your respective school to get better procurement and vendor contracts in place…you will thank yourself for it later.
