One of the educators physically assaulted a child at Camp Australia. The school appointed a new OSHC provider that has just been abysmal. I have complained to them and to the school with literally no response from either. A child in prep was denied lunch during the holidays because he forgot to take his lunch box outside and wasn’t allowed in to retrieve it.
The principal has chosen higher profits from this provider over the well being of its students. A higher profit paid for by the increased prices levied to the parents. This is a taint on the school’s reputation.
Great school, my daughter has done prep. here and it’s been really great. She’s really becoming her own person and building her confidence. The teachers are great and the kids love them. I am not planning on changing schools until high school and we’re travelling 30min to get here.
My son is in grade 1 at CSS and I cannot fault the school. Inclusive to a fault, systems in place to teach excellent coping skills to deal with conflict, friendly staff (my sons teachers so far have been delightful) with incredible communication and availability to discuss any concerns about your children. Clean facilities. Every child and staff member are celebrated for their achievements.
Excellent school grounds very well presented and neat and tidy. Must be that the student population taking care and are very respectful of their school environment. Of course this is down to the Head of the school / Principal and school administration. The school staff must be inspiring the students to behave well and be responsible. I only visited the school for voting in the Council election purposes and Media was saying how it will be hour long queue when in fact i was about thirty seconds on the queue and came out faster or more quickly than with other elections.
This is a very good school, very clean and tidy. My children have attended here for a few years and in that time, I have noticed that they support students well and care about them. Thank you to all the teachers and the principal!
